Edward Denholm attended the University of Akron for his pre-medical studies, earning multiple Dean's List honors.  He was graduated from the Case Western Dental School, and worked as an associate in Akron before establishing a solo dental practice in Tallmadge.  He was located within that community for 27 years. He moved the office to its' current location at the corner of Portage Trail and Sixth Street in 2007.

Dr. Denholm is a life member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Akron Dental Society.  He has served at the local level, most recently on the Peer Review Committee.  He has been chosen as a "Top Dentist" designation, a recognition status generated by other dentists, for the past eight years.

He is a long time resident of Cuyahoga Falls, and recently retired from the "Chain Gang" after 30 years of football games. He  and his co-volunteers were recognized for their service by induction into the Cuyahoga Falls High School Football Hall of Fame with the Class of 2010.

He is a member of the Oktoberfest Committee, and a founding member of the Oktoberfest Golf Charities, established in 1998 to support the Falls Cancer Club and other local charities.  He and his children established the Kimberly S. Denholm Charities in early 2008, which supports the Guardian Ad Litem program, other local charities and scholarship programs. 

Four of his children were graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, and two from Walsh. Outside office hours are spent trying to perfect his golf game, "edventures" with Anna, and enjoying time with his family.  He has six children, and soon-to-be 12 grandchildren. 


Kim Arny was graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Central Hower High School, and has been a Dental Assisting National Board certified dental assistant for more than 35 years.  She has also earned a Certified Ohio Dental Assistant credential, and a radiology license, and recently completed her ADAA Mastership.  This has been accomplished by less than thirty dental assistants worldwide.  

She is a Past President of the Ohio Dental Assistants Association and the Akron Dental Assistants Society ,and a former American Dental Assistants Association Third District Trustee.  She serves on the Ohio Commission on Dental Assisting Certification, the advisory boards of the Akron High School Dental Assisting program, and was selected to the OMORT Forensics team, the emergency response team for Ohio..

She is a past recipient of the Sunstar Butler/ADAA Business Assistant Award, the ADAA Loyal Assistant Award, and the 2007 ADAA Third District Award of Excellence, four ADAS Achievement Awards, the ADAA/DANB 2014 scholarship, one Scientific Achievement Award, and was chosen as the Dental Assistant of the Year in 1987. She received recognition from the Akron Public Schools in 2009 for her community service within the school system.

  Kim has worked with Doc for 38 years. She’s been married to Lee since high school. She is Mom to daughters, Melissa and Charisse, and Nana to Nicholas, Gage, and Alexandria, Her spare time is spent golfing, traveling, and fishing.


Jennifer Cunningham earned her Associate’s Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty State College in 2001. She has been a practicing hygienist for 12 years and has worked with Dr. Denholm for 13 years.

  Jenny married Scott in September of 2009.  They were blessed with Benjamin on June 25, 2012, and are spending their time being amazed with his capacity for learning new things!  Completing their family is Chloe, a Yorkie-Poo.  Jenny has begun a side business as a photographer, and works with the Fairless Football Team in Navarre, documenting their games.  The photographs she has taken have won online contests, and will serve to hold memories for years.

She and Scott recently built a home, and she has embraced decorating and landscaping with a vengeance.  She is a planner, and organizer extraordinaire!

Cheryl Delesk was graduated from the Kent Roosevelt Dental Assisting Program, and began working with Dr. Denholm as an extern within that program.  She has been with us off and on for over 30 years.  She returned to a full-time position with the practice more than eight years ago, and her energy and cheerfulness in the office is a delight. 

Her skills as an assistant will blow you away,  She knows what he needs before he does, and is amazing!

Cheryl and her husband, Mike have two great sons, Josh and Noah.  Josh has a career in Health and Fitness, and Noah isin his final yer at the University of Akron.  Cheryl enjoys card-making and baking.  Snoopy and Remington round out the family.  He is a golden retriever with Marley-like attributes to keep the family on its toes. Rem is a tiny thing, and is feisty.

Cortney Rennecker joined us in May of 2012.  She was graduated from Stark State as a hygienist, but also holds EFDA certification and a local anesthesia permit.  Fun to have in the office, as she is always up for an adventure. 

Her family is rounded out by husband Adam, daughter Ella, and sons Blake and Zane.  Living on a lake, it's easy to understand how she can ski, jet-ski, and garden.

Cortney is the Queen of all things crafting, and delights in crocheting, knitting, making homemade soaps, and Cricut projects.  She makes t-shirts and gifts for her friends, her teachers, and for her co-workers that are unique and one-of-a-kind.  She has mad skills
